1) Obama grew up loving and admiring the USSR as a "hero-nation". His mentor (and possible father and pederast groomer) Frank Marshall Davis was steeped in Stalinist thought and longed for the U.S. to be a Communist nation. Perhaps he's doing all he can to help his favorite nation regain status.

2) Putin and Russia have strongly come out for Christianity and against Sodomy. B. Hussein has no problem with Muslims sorting out their own problems, but when Christians seem to be on the march in any part of the world, this has to rankle Our Fairy Prince. Personally, I think Putin's Christianity is a cynical ploy. I also think that he realizes that after 80 years of Atheistic Communism, the Russian people need Christianity to unify and strengthen his people.

When Putin was at Bush’s Crawford, Texas ranch he answered questions at the high school. One kid asked him about his religious beliefs and he stated that he is an atheist. When did he have a conversion?
