My 200 hp v6 Johnson OB had to get the power head rebuilt this summer. It was always well maintained and is only used 4-5 times a season never abused but the ethanol gas ruined it. $3000 in all.
My bills were much smaller. Total bill for all three motors was under $500, but having to see the smug “oh, you’re back again” look on the face of the repair guy was humiliating.
