Someone once said that they day you think you need to bury them is the day you need to use them. I have, of course, zero opinion about this.

This can only end badly, as in many dead police and formerly law abiding citizens as well.. hopefully common sense rules the day and it does not (end like this)!

Only if they are charged and convicted of a felony.

The State of CT is serious as a bastard about what they are going to do. Now the legitimate gun owners are going to have to shit or get off the pot. In other words, are they going to surrender or fight.

In World War 2 each time the Japs gave the British the ultimatum to surrender or fight, the British surrendered. And as history later showed, the British were in a better position to continue fighting than the Japs were.

Time will tell the tale in CT but the gun owners time is running out rapidly.

Not sure how it ever came to be that laws limiting gun rights were ever deemed constitutional, but I am positive that the second amendment was put into place to ensure that gun confiscation could never happen.

This is the one redline in America that once crossed can never be walked back.

Bury the guns in the back yard. They will be needed some day.

Why wouldn't they be needed now what with tyranny already manifesting itself? One cannot buckle under such masters and call himself a free man. Where would you draw the line? Once they have conquered you completely?

Police funerals in Conneticuts future?

A few examples would make the others think twice.

I’m torn. The people after whom they would be going are of a different number, a different mindset, motivation, etc, than folks who are currently the target of confiscatory raids. We have seen that we’re no longer a nation of laws, but men, so I have to think the statists consider that when they order their JBTs to do their bidding.

A bright boy who was raised right.

It is a tragedy really when one considers the history of the state. It would have NEVER survived with out the people having their own arms to bear and use

“Registration of guns always leads to confiscation.

CCW is just another form of registration.”

Amen. Carry like you believe it is your right, not a privilege.

Now that they have announced this operation I am not sure how successful they will be. It would take a lot of officers and a lot of time to go through every possible hiding place in a house looking for guns. If they are convinced you have a weapon just tell them you threw it away.

Nazi’s. This reminds me of the scene near the beginning of Inglorious Bastards.

There is no way I would live in Connicunt or any other facist state. Registering guns is mistake free people only make once.

Where would you draw the line?
***I don’t know. It strikes me as wise now that some people who have purchased guns have NEVER registered them, ever. I think I would draw the line somewhere in there.

I don’t know when it’s time to head for the hills. The drumbeats are getting louder, every day. Every man has his limit. But part of the problem is that when a man decides “tyranny has already manifested itself”, where does he go to organize & meet up with like-minded individuals? With today’s capability of guvmint surveillance, such a thing is far riskier than in previous generations. We are truly headed towards the system of the beast. How would you propose that this set of problems be overcome?
