I did go out with gloves on and finish the job, but I’ll never go out to sweep the snow again without my gloves.
The rest of me wasn’t cold at all, even with a very light shirt on, just my hands, and you’re right, it was from the metal broom handle.
I always wear gloves in winter, and even in summer. Working outdoors can be brutal to your hands.
