Why would the second Party of Government want to decrease their own power and influence?

For example, as much as we adore Ted Cruz, there are serious people on our side who question his tactics and wonder about his strategy. If you simply disregard someone of the stature of Thomas Sowell because you don’t want to hear his conclusions, then you are being foolish. If Ted Cruz has failed to carefully read and think over Sowell’s recent critique, he’s wrong.

This author wrote this entire piece just so he could get that section into it.

It's another shot at Ted Cruz.

They don't like that Ted Cruz forced a debt ceiling vote and outed McConnell and the other weakling rinos.

Let's consider for a moment, as this author asks, the benefit of HIDING behind Senate procedures so Senate Republicans could hoodwink REPUBLICAN voters. McConnell wasn't trying to fool DEMOCRATS. He was trying to fool republicans/conservatives.

That says it all Mr Kurt Schlichter. Cruz was right. McConnell and cronies were wrong. That means Thomas Sowell was wrong.

They are ALL on the side of lying to the base....to me. And I damn well think it stinks to high heaven.
