How on EARTH can anyone reasonable think that we would ever nominate Jeb? Now I am one that thinks we can be a bit too myopic and believe that others wee what we see and like what we like and that our favorites will be the next POTUS (Ted Cruz comes to mind). But even old cynical me can’t imagine a world in which we nominate Jeb Bush.
The big issue here is how "we" is defined. With the number of open primaries that we face early in the election year, I'd be surprised if we didn't get stuck with another weak candidate.
Jeb is being groomed to run. I expect him to be in Iowa this summer.
I remember, in 2008, thinking: How on EARTH can anyone reasonable think that the republicans would ever nominate John McCain?
And then, in 2012, I thought: How on EARTH can any reasonable republican support nominating Mitt Romney?
