I generally don’t agree with film stars on anything but in this case I do. Why should Scotland pay in part for the Royal family? Why should they be on the hook for a failed welfare state and a country overrun by Muzzies? If they can get out, then get out while the getting is good.
I think it started the other way around when James VI of Scotland was declared King of England and Ireland.
From what I have read England would be the major benefactor if Scotland breaks away. The amount of welfare money poured into Scotland is gigantic.
Because it's their royal family. Has been ever since 1603, when a reigning Scottish king inherited the English throne (not the other way round). The manifesto of the 'yes' campaign for Scottish independence includes a commitment to keep the United Kingdom monarch as Head of State (in exactly the same way as she now is for Australia, Canada, New Zealand and others).
The main reason, IMNVHO, the Scots will go independent is that they envision a Socialist Paradise based on their oil revenues, as they think Norway is.
As far as Muslims go, the Scots certainly have their share of that bad idea. The Muslims, BTW, are rupturing the National Health with one very unfashionable politically incorrect and unreported item: Birth Defects. Astronomical number in Britain now due to Muslim inbreeding. Not at all unusual for all parents of the bride and groom to be related, cousins ... sometimes even all 1st cousins! Muslim idea, marry your cousin ... and her sister. There. That'll fix it, alhumdoolillah!
Bright spot: Scotland has a vastly better educational system than England
