The House Republican agenda feels like déjà vu all over again. As if the first 49 votes were not enough to satisfy the Republican fixation on undoing health reform, the Republican leadership is prepared to make yet another attempt their 50th try to repeal or undermine the Affordable Care Act. Americans deserve better.
On the same day that Republicans gathered to discuss an alternative to the health care law, five years later, the proponents of repeal still cant help themselves. This latest Republican proposal would drive up premiums for millions of Americans. All the while, Republicans ignore the positive impact of this landmark measure on the lives of the American people: with four million signed up on the marketplaces, 3.1 million young adults covered on their parents plans, and millions more gaining insurance through the expansion of Medicaid.

Undoing OBAMACIDE is better than undoing the greatest Healthcare system this world has ever known.
You passed it.
Then we found out what was in it.
Now we’re puking it up.
Hey, I agree with First Lunatic Pelosi! Go figure. I'm sick of all these theater votes they stage because they know it's safe and will do nothing to stop the leviathan, then they refuse to do anything like defund that might actually protect us from this tyranny. Present them with one of those opportunities and their spines instantly melt. But oh, the symbolic stuff that will do nothing, they're on that like junkyard dogs!
Or you could say we’re following her lead and “passing” it! ;)
Sen. Manchin (D-WV) has vowed to vote with the GOP.
Would like to see if he follows through and if he convinced other dems to do likewise
Just hung up with a young guy from the Republican to Elect A Majority. Asked him when that was going to happen, and he said that is why he was calling me. I told him Repub have a majority in the House, it is time they use it. I think by my repeating it two more times he just wanted to get off the phone. Next time I will try to keep him on longer.
My take is trying to “fix” Olosercare 50 times is almost 49 times too many. As much as I like to PO Pelosi... pushing fixer upper bills as a response to pajama boy press people that it isn’t enough to criticize, but to offer real options . . . . forget it, as it will never get through the Senate.
It is well past time to teach Americans what they did not learn in high school US History class. Power of the purse ...there is no money to borrow on the backs of future Americans to fund a losing proposition, and a loss of freedom. Democraps like to say all their spending is “investing”. OK GOPe, use their language and teach the American people that we do not invest in losing propositions.
“Settled?” Not while the Present-Dent is still revising it.
Shut up demented hag.
um... most of those that signed up were just those who lost their coverage because of Obamacare to being with!
If they love it so much they should be forced to use it and give their golden healthcare package to the vets and military!
Did any democrats join in yet?
” This latest Republican proposal would drive up premiums for millions of Americans.”
And the ObamaCare® act has been of so much benefit how¿¿¿
