Liberals are the greedy ones. They get what they want by looting other people’s money.
The kind of liberal I am most familiar with is the entitlement mentality liberal. They’ll whine and complain about the rich “not paying their fair share”, and so forth, but their real motivation is that they want more money and goodies without having to work to earn them.
This hardly fits the carefully nurtured image of liberals as compassionate and selfless. There is nothing more selfish than wanting to exist on the fruit of someone else’s labor.
“Vote for others interests?” The liberals who got burned (that is to say, presented with a bill)by obozocare didn’t sound so full of love and largess for others.

Perfect definition, caver. Conservatives that I know donate time, money, goods etc.. They are involved in church or other organizations. The liberals I know (and I live in Maryland so I can definitely say I know a LOT of liberals) talk a big game. However, they don’t give to charities etc.. They may volunteer but only at something that promotes liberal agenda. They aren’t volunteering to help someone else during hard times. Liberals will “demand” higher taxes on the “wealthy” fully expecting that they won’t pay for it. Your definition was a direct hit.
I can't blame the libs on the blood donation thing. The Red Cross does ask certain, *ahem*, prying questions that the libs cannot always answer satisfactorily.
Libs are the most self-serving, self-centered folks I’ve ever known. I don’t say this to insult either.

The liberals preach tolerance, yet they are the most intolerant individuals I have ever met.
Liberalism has decayed to just the philosophical advocacy of the seven deadly sins. Wrapped in a tortilla of neuroses and anxiety, with the enchilada sauce of racism and the shredded cheddar cheese of totalitarianism.
It is a shiat burrito.
Even the most corrupt businessman just wants your money - the liberal wants your money, your time, your adoration...ultimately your life to be sacrificed on the altar of his vanity.
Go to any city that has hosted either a Democrat or Republican national convention and interview the staffs of the local restaurants and hotels. The Democrats win the cheap, stingy award every time.
It depends who’s money they are giving away.
Easy to be generous with someone elses money. Actually having to get your hands dirty is something completely beyond their scope...
You know that's crap, right? Our Lord himself told us to do unto others as we'd have them do unto us. Was Christ Himself telling us to be selfish? When you drive a sick person to chemo, you're doing it not only because that's what a Christian does, you're doing it because that's what you'd want someone to do for you. It's a clearly unselfish act.
As a Catholic in the Philadelphia area, I see and interact with lots of liberals. At the food pantry, at the soup kitchen and at the homeless shelter. The notion that libs don't pitch in is feel good conservative hooey.
They are MORE selfish since they use other people’s money to provide services they think are needed. Look at the Oscar swag bags. $80,000 worth of “stuff” that could have fed a lot of people. But they well known leftist libs will keep it for themselves.
