The result of the latest Elon University Poll shows that approval of Hagan, now at roughly 33 percent, has declined in four consecutive polls.

"The trend suggests the senator will face a tougher-than-expected re-election battle this November," said Dr. Jason Husser, assistant director of the Elon University Poll.

A gross understatement if I ever read one. 33% approval is "dead woman walking" status.

I’m still suprised that Hagan, and Pryor, decided to run..

Yeah, Professor Husser is really going out on a limb there to be the first to tell us something we don't already know.

There have been political ads for and against (mostly against) her on TV for a year or more.

I'll be glad to see her go. She's a real clod, never would have been elected in a year other than 2008, AND if Elizabeth Dole hadn't thrown the election.

And, her ads are bad enough so that Mrs WBill said "HEY! Wait a minute!!", and she never talks back to the TV. Something about Obamacare helping NC'ers keep their health insurance (Mrs WBill was booted out of hers, and the next best thing was 50% higher).
