The article is very biased and the author clearly opposes the Russian intervention. He wants to generate sympathy for newly appointed leadership of Ukraine. However, the poll is supposedly from a Russian source. I personally doubt the veracity of the poll but that doesn’t mean I agree with what the Russians are doing. Anyhow, the Ukrainians should decide their own future.

Perhaps we ought to apply Occam’s Razor here....the simplest explanation is probably the correct one.

Maybe it IS unpopular.

Now, the question is, will Putin CONVINCE the populace action is needed, will Putin IGNORE the populace and do what he thinks is best, or will Putin OBEY the will of the populace?
