“take it off and beat her with the wet end”...My goodness, you must have known my grandfather and my father...I was forever threatened as a kid to stop doing this/that/the other thing by being told that he would rip off my ( any part of the anatomy ) “ and stick the wet end in my face ! Brings back fond memories of having respect for my elders.
