It is not just young men, but girls too should be trained in use of fire arms.
If you look at the boards that keep track of murder victims and their survivors you will find that many other weapons were used than just a gun. My son was BEAT to death on his way home from school with in sight of our home, just under the RR track hil next to a old ice plant, 16 blows, sociopath wanted to see what it felt like to KILL. Chose my 16 year old, who had the development of a 12 year old. His weapon was a 4 x 4 fence post 2 ft section. Too 2 yrs to get to a BAD plea deal in which I had no say, fought the first of 6 parole hearings just 10 months later. Eked out 14.5 yrs of a 20 yr plea deal. Killer now walks the streets of TN a free man, I made him max out his ‘good’ behavior time.
