“Won’t work, the mayors of New York and Boston are refusing to attend St Patrick’s day parades for lack of gay floats.”

Interesting. Is there a down side?

“Interesting. Is there a down side?”

What a fascinating question. Politicians live for the limelight. What they’re saying is, “If you don’t let in gays I’m going to hold my breath and then you’ll be sorry.” But who will lose the free exposure? They’re the losers in this childish game.

Doubt it, those are probably poll driven actions. And Boston may be giving in and allowing a gay float. Might be in a smaller Boston parade, I don’t know. Nor do I understand what sexuality has to do with St. Patricks day.
