Why does he want to be a Republican?

He actually wants this amnesty, even if it costs him his speakership.

I was told we have to vote GOP no matter what. So in light of this latest cave to illegals, either the “No matter what” people here on FR are not too smart or liberals.

Wonder which. Either way they should be ignored at minimum.

If you come in and plead guilty and pay a fine, that’s not amnesty.

Yeah, they'll pay a fine. Somehow I imagine the IRS will deduct it from their EITC and child credits. Or, there will be a refundable credit for the fine. It is amnesty you f'ing moron.

I have yet to hear a RINO explain how it is in our national interests to grant amnesty. I at least would like to hear one of them make the effort, regardless of how ridiculous that effort would make them look.

In 2014, the GOP STILL ignores Gov. Palin,
supports Romney, and through Boehner and McConnell
they support Obama and his insane policies.

THE GOP = GIVE OBAMA POWER.

House Speaker John Boehner (R?-OH) said that he wants to get amnesty legislation done this year even as he [lied] that the immigration reform he and President Barack Obama discussed in their White House meeting was not "amnesty."

Boehner also [lied] that providing illegal immigrants a pathway to citizenship, which the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers, is not amnesty. “Some want to call it amnesty,” Boehner [lies]. “I reject that premise... If you come in and plead guilty and pay a fine, that’s not amnesty.”

Amnesty RINO.

Ugh!

There are not “two classes” of people here, unless you accept a premise that our laws mean nothing, that illegal presence takes precedence over the law.

There are people who are here legally.

That is the only “class” of people the law recognizes as having any lawful standing. Anyone else does not have legal standing to be here.

THAT IS NOT AN ERROR IN THE LAW, it is ONLY an error in LAW ENFORCEMENT.

Enforce the law and people here illegally will self deport.

***

I'm guessing it wasn't money. Boehner is a willing conspirator with the communists in the White House. That meeting was to give Boehner his marching orders.

Obama said he would not sign a bill that does not have a pathway to citizenship in it or that creates two classes of people in the United States

Right again, Marlowe. Any plan that has workers in the US who can be here legally but never have the right to pursue citizenship is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Scotus will decide that someone who is subjugated throughout his life only to work but never to participate is some form of serfdom or slavery.

Any law that deals with illegal immigrants -- other than deportation -- is a backdoor way to get amnesty, even if it takes the judiciary to declare it.

The statement that if you pay a fine it isn’t amnesty, is cringeworthy.

We should apply this logic to all crimes.

Plus it means admission to the USA is just up for sale.

But then WHY do people think politicians are any thing but dopes?

Hello Boner, it's amnesty. I do not, however, think many illegal aliens will come forward to plead guilty and pay a fine. Are these politicians really that stupid? Well, yes, of course they are.

There is a lot of evidence to support your assertion.

Boehner has been a rock-solid opponent of any Impeachment of Soetoro-Obama, the Democrat’s former Foreign Student Impostor.

Every Rep. running for office or re-election should be told point blank, you either take an oath to replace Bohner as speaker AND vote against any legislation to give special treatment to criminal invaders already here residency or citizenship.

If they won’t why vote for them vs the rats?
Boner will push this WITH the rinos and the rats just like he did with the CR and debt limit..

Passing any law that rewards criminal behavior, such as illegal entry into our country, with citizenship is unforgivable. I approve of legal immigration and want that system fixed, but I do not think our country needs more criminals.

Well as long as people buy the lesser evil/no matter what crap he probably does. The right proved they will accept liberals with Romney and he knows it.

So we can either stop doing that or not. Simple choice. The Dems are doing nothing worse than the GOP. The GOP is lockstep with Dem desires. So we lose either way.

Or we fight and maybe politically die on this hill saying NO more Rinos. Or maybe win.

Boehner recently said that he and Obama agreed the most on immigration during their recent one-on-one meeting and both want legislation this year, which amnesty advocates believe may be the last chance to pass significant immigration reform.

Pssssssstttttt! John, what you are saying isn't "amnesty", certainly is. And what you are calling "reform", certainly isn't.

If we want to truly "reform" immigration, that's going to have to wait until we have a truly conservative government.
