This is only going to prompt Cornyn and the rest of the GOPe to double down against the Tea Party.

That Texas couldn't find a second Cruz is troubling.

Cornyn is a NoGoodnik.

I thought TX wanted change? By voting for Cornball, Patrick and Bush, we are just handing it over to the Dems.

Stockman, I’m not sure what the hell you were doing here, but you have hurt our cause. Your campaign was a non-existent joke, and this win will only embolden Cornyn to become more of a RINO. You’ve given up a House seat to someone who is less conservative than yourself. If this was about paying off debts, I hope you enjoyed defrauding people.

Guys, bad weather is not going to help us. You want to win in races like Mississippi and Kentucky, this crap is not going to cut it.

This article was written before the First person voted in Texas on March 4, as an attempt to reduce the turnout.

I don’t know what the definition of “crush” is, but let’s see the results tonite.

If Stockman gets 20% of the vote with his level of spending, the GOP rinos should be quaking.

Overcrowded races only help incumbents.

We’re going to have to do better than people like Stockman if we’re ever going to get rid of the RINOs.

Stockman was an "interesting" character, but at least he was a heck of a lot more Conservative than Cornyn.

And a lot of so-called Conservatives did everything they could to discourage people from voting for Stockman. He wasn't what we needed.

Well, have fun with Cornyn.

Cornyn hasn’t voted for amnesty since 2005. When he has to pull the trigger on amnesty he wimps out because his ideas are stupid and DeMint, Sessions and Vitter tear them apart. He had 7 million and was probably going to win a runoff by getting Vega’s votes.

In 2010, McCain and Murkowski survived as the worst RINOs but other RINOs lost races in open seats and Bennett got taken out.

This is how the media spins it.

But professional politicians see: “Cornyn Barely Avoids Runoff By Skin Of His Teeth”.

It took us a while to find “our Cruz”. We had to weather many elections with KayHutch before we were fortunate enough to be blessed with Ted Cruz.

Cornball’s war chest was very powerful and we didn’t have another candidate with an organized and well funded campaign.

I think Cornball got a wake up call, if nothing else.

Still trolling for the GOP-E? With a little over 25% of the vote in, Cornyn is barely holding on to 60%.

Jim should have zotted you the other day when he told you to KMA.

Texas is what it is. Conservatives hope a little too much in it. A lot of one on one accepting of the pushy hey speak spanishers, ESP among corporate store managers and shopkeepers. A lot of blasé not to say its bad, but Texas is not going to do it all. Can’t

And lofo lives here, just like everywhere else. Cornyn is a familiar name

Tons of California transplants Barrages of well produced radio ads (cornyn) on talk/conservative radio

He’s an incumbent

And Cruz is special Not everyone is like him. And he IS. A Texan. Probably couldve been crushed in a lot of other states

Cruz worked on getting legislators in, sending out recommendations on them. Stayed out of this race.

Careful what you ask for. But I don’t think he found it proper to get involved.

And if Cornyn does win the primary, I will vote for a non-liberal 3rd party candidate.

The explanation is simple: Cruz is the aberration. Cornball et al are the norm.
