WASHINGTON (AP) Russia is unlikely to pull back its military forces in Ukraine's Crimean peninsula, analysts and former Obama administration officials say, forcing the United States and Europe into a more limited strategy of trying to prevent President Vladimir Putin from making advances elsewhere in the former Soviet republic.

LOL Duh.
Analysts, their powers of prediction are limitless.
At least in part because the Muslims there (the Tatars) are being held in check only by the Russian presence. They’re Sunni Muslims and apparently would like to go back to their old glory days under the Ottoman Empire, some 200 years ago.
Just imagine how mixed up the world would be without experts to confirm the obvious.
Obama will get right on this, right after he gets back from his minimum wage speech in CT.
I hope Lurch keeps it “neat, sweet and petite”.
One difference between Putin and Obama: One loves his country and the other doesn’t.
Question: Has Putin ever pulled back? Ever? He will organize a “Self Defence Force” and keep Criemea in his orbit—and in time add it to the New Mother Russia—why, you ask? Now he will not have to pay the Ukraine rent—and they can never kick his fleet out! This will all be over soon. Putin won this round. In fact he’s been winning many of them since Obama became President—and may win some more soon. Watch as China starts to move in the China Seas, and Iran moves into her neighbors.
The Free Republic analysts are severely underpaid.
If only Obama’s father had pulled back.
A true leader doesn’t pull back - doesn’t apologize - doesn’t make a move unless it is well thought out and in his country’s self interest. Our last three Presidents have not acted in our country’s best interest - they have conducted bogus wars that only benefited the Globalists. What will Obama do if Russia actually builds some bases in Cuba and Venezuela? Answer: Nothing! He hates America and is bent on destroying it without any resistance. This is all about “more flexibility once I am re-elected.”
So, why again should I worry about Putin (or China or Iran) rather than what’s happening right here in the USA under our noses in plain sight?
Their glory days were before that. They ruled the Crimea from teh 13th century onwards and had their famous “harvest of the steppes” — white slavery
