I’ve no doubt this exists. If democrats can get one of their own elected, they actively support the most liberal republican they can find. Look at Alaska in 2010. Democrats knew they wouldn’t win, so they got behind Murkowski’s write-in campaign, at Murkowski’s urging, I’m sure.
