The place where the TEA Party suffered was in candidate selection and information spreading. The Stockman candidacy for the Senate was a sham from the beginning, and Media attention along with Quisling Cornyn’s attack ads against his strawman opponent sucked the air out of the Stovall campaign.

TEA Party voters will have to do a far better job of informing themselves in the future...

Hope you’re not reading too much into this. You are talking about Cornyn. Reportedly he had amassed a huge war chest in excess of $13M. Might be interesting to take a gander at his TEC reports and if I had time would check them out on the internet. He knows he’s safe for 6 more years and I don’t expect him to deviate from his previous deviousness at all.

I’m sure he’s watching McConnell’s race quite closely and more concentrated on being Senate leader than he is on the needs and wishes of most of those of us in Texas.
