As I’ve said before, Canada exports its great comedians to the world and saves the mediocre ones for domestic politics. (Although Rob Ford is a notable exception. That guy could be the next John Candy.)
And as I’ve also said before, we live in absurd times.

Wednesday, the CRTC issued a broadcast notice saying AOV Adult Movie Channel, XXX Action Clips and the gay-oriented Maleflixxx were all failing to reach the required 35% threshold for Canadian content.
A third of the population don’t want to watch two guys having sex? They must be racist!

Gonna go look at some Helen Thomas pics and hopefully clear my mind.
Sometime when you happen to find women’s curling on TV (Scott’s Tournament of Hearts for example), put it on, turn up the sound and go into the next room. Listening to our babes yelling “Hurry ! Hurry !!” and “Hard, hard !!” will run your imagination a little wild. Or maybe it’s just me. :)
Somewhere in an office building deep in darkest Canada there is a bureaucrat who had to make that call. Because it's his job. Hopefully he will never need to put it on a resume.

Why is every actor or actress who "acts" in a porn movie is called a star? Aren't there any non-star level actors?
