I wish somebody in the GOP would call attention to this. Jindal seems to have been the only one so far to have even mentioned Medicare Advantage, and I don’t know if anybody has looked at Tricare.

Just the ones I’ve posted is all I can find. And there was a lot of info in those few articles. Look at the links I put on another post at the waste, fraud and abuse in every BLOOMING program we have in existence.

The Military was one area they never looked at. My Dad was a WW2 Vet, my late husband did his 4 during the Nam era, Mace Missiles. Current Hubby is Ret. Senior Chief. Did his 60-80, so saw some Nam, was on the Midway when they were pulling the Ambassador out, and off the coast of Cuba during the Missile Crisis. So I keep up with the Military end as well as I can.

If my husband should die, I am reduced to just my SS which is 1100 at this point. I do not qualify for any of his pensions as we are 2 remarried seniors. I draw off my late husband’s SS account, as I did not have enough quarters in, my SS would of been 350 per month other wise. As I am disabled that got reduced by $40 bucks until I turn 66. But since I remarried a Ret. SCPO I qualify for Tricare Life.

Not a phony disabled, a real disable person, I cannot even walk to do the groceries. But can do short distance with out a electric chair which I do not qualify for despite the back from Hades, and the pain running down my colon and legs due to medical malpractice, I can’t prove, no witnesses. But plenty of test to say the back from hades and nerve damage to hands and back are there, not fixable due to bad Bone density scores due to Cholesterol diets and drugs.. Unlike those who claim mental illnesses or drug addiction. So I track this crap.

Here is your real problem, not our health care as ret. Military. Yes there are plenty of places to reduce the cost of Ret Military health care, making sure your Primary is not running the same test your Specialist is running is a place to start. If you see a Cardio or ENDO you do not need a under educated Internist running the same test to PAD their bills. I have no lung issues or cardio ones so why does a Internist need a every 3 month EKG or Chest Xray? And he sure has less education than my ENDO has. Does not even know which drugs, supplements, food effect the uptake of my thyroid med. Nor does he cross check health issue to it. That is why you have Specialist in the first place.
