The bad news just keeps getting worse for disgraced Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

In January his own party stunned McCain by censuring him in a landslide vote in response to his betrayals on everything from illegal alien amnesty, to caving on ObamaCare, to support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Syria. It was an unprecedented and humiliating political act.

And now a new poll reveals McCain is the least popular senator in the country of those surveyed by Public Policy Polling, with low marks from members of his own party, independents and Democrats.

I live just across the river from Needles CA and worked at area newspapers/regional throughout the 2000s. So I had a semi inside look at what Cali and Illegals were doing.

When i got here you could still do the ‘Leave it to Beaver’ thing and leave doors unlocked. Not any more. Cali 3 strikers on strike 2 came here to avoid the third and the illegals opened the drug corridor to Vegas into a freeway.

Among members of his own party, McCain is at 35 percent approval to 55 percent disapproval; the comparable figures among Democrats are 29 percent to 53 percent, and among independents, 25 percent to 55 percent.

This makes perfect sense.

Mister McCain has frequently snubbed his own party in order (one suspects) to curry favor w the NYT, and etc. However, nobody likes a (political) turncoat, and lookie what happens to opinion.

The (sorta) tragic irony is that likely every GOPer and indy would now have a higher opinion of McCain if he had only chosen to be true to conservative (aka American) principles. (He might have even become president.)

You are quite correct.

Easy call. Dems hate all GOP politicians and almost all non-dems hate McCain. Doesn’t leave too many who like Mr. Maverick Acrosstheaisle.

I have a hard time believing Juan is more despised than Harry Reid. But I’ll settle for a tie.

Say, like Admiral Bourda some years ago?

I think Jeremy Boorda was more popular than Harry Reid too.

I HONESTLY think that those FIVE L-O-N-G years as a POW in Vietnam destroyed him TO THE CORE--mind, heart and soul.

He was an incompetent ass long before Vietnam. It has been documented.

McCain

It has been "documented"? Is THAT supposed to cower me into believing YOU? Hardly. Documentation by any other name is balderdash when it comes the way you say it.

McCain served honorably in Vietnam and was a POW for five long years. Did YOU serve in Vietnam? Were YOU a POW? Name calling a vet, no matter who is he, because of what YOU think, with your "documentation," is as low as one can go.
Vet or no, SHAME on you.

He was eighth from the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy and was regarded as a show-off who gave little regard for military discipline or regulation. His entire naval career consisted of crashing airplanes. The last airplane he crashed just happened to be in enemy territory. He would not have gotten into the Naval Academy or been a pilot or been a senator if his father and grandfather were not big wigs. This is all well documented. I’m sorry if you are not willing to accept the truth.

I accept truth but I don't consider WHAT you say, necessarily, as the truth. You obviously don't like McCain, but millions of Arizonans did and do. Are THEY all "not willing to accept the truth" either?

Also if he is so ROTTEN why is HIS biography on the Internet and not YOURS? He might have gotten INTO places, ORIGINALLY, because of his family, but he doesn't STAY there because of them. Nice try, Mr. McCainHater, but your words sound a lot like SOUR GRAPES.

Is that you, John? Or perhaps Cindy? Or perhaps Meghan? JM is pretty much universally despised by the members of this forum so it you’re going to get your panties in a bunch every time somebody ridicules him or points out his shortcomings you might be happier elsewhere.

I would say that the 3 or 4 remaining mcstainiacs that cheer on his backstabbing of Conservatives are either fumblewits or moralscrapes.

fumblewits, moralscrapes I LIKE them words, Mr. Lee.

I guess ALL those Arizona folks who keep re-electing him fall into those categories. Why would they do that if he were so awful? Are they just stupid? Immoral? What??

Boy, you really have it for the ENTIRE voting block of McCain.
NO ONE is all bad or all good. But, for you there is the McCainException.

He really needs your prayers, not your scorn.

But he’s popular with the media and the Ruling Class. That’s what he cares about.
