'Our president... Barraco Barner'
Daily Mail UK ^ | March 7, 2014 | By Harriet Arkell

When a young British beautician realized relations between Russia and Ukraine were at crisis point, she decided to share her feelings on Twitter. Without pausing to check her facts, or her spelling, Gemma Worrall, 20, wrote: 'If barraco barner is our president, why is he getting involved with Russia, scary.'

Miss Worrall added: 'The response I've had from people has been awful - I had messages from strangers calling me a "stupid cow" and an "oxygen thief". Some of the comments I was getting were funny and I could have a good laugh at myself, but others were just brutal and extreme.'

'I have an English GCSE but I admit I don’t take much interest in politics and stuff like that. Maybe I should stay out of politics.' (yeah, you think?)

It’s Friday and the article gave me a good laugh. Shows the increasing ignorance of youth is not just in America, but clearly across the pond as well ;>)

Well, we would be glad to give you our President, since you think he is your leader. We can certainly spare him.

Everytime I read knee-jerk comments left by low information liberals I’m amazed at how naieve many of them are about simple things like Constitutional law, their lack of knowledge about the events they are commenting on or the subject matter (the Bible is a very common one) and just their overall level of stupidity. Look up any liberal forum where they are complaining about conservatives who don’t support gay marriage and you’ll quickly find out what I mean.

Stunning - just stunning - ignorance. And there’s nothing uniquely British about it; we have dolts here just as bad. In a democracy her vote counts the same as anyone else’s. The Framers knew what they were doing when they restricted the franchise to vote.

Now, ask yourself, would you want this “beautician” anywhere near you?

"Not guilty."

Those are apparently her two brain cells she has to rub together to form a thought.

OK, sure she may be on the "lightly informed" side of life but she has two major advantages over the LIVs here:
1) she has a job!
2) she can't vote in the US

"oxygen thief", pfffttt, I'm stealing that...

She is probably pretty competent at the work she does every day. Most people of average intelligence do understand things they are directly involved in.

Perhaps Ms. Worrall, hairdresser, is simply ignorant of the basics.

But perhaps Ms. Worrall (not her real name) is an agent of Britain's MI6. Her mission: Inform the world of Barack Obama’s real name, Barraco Barner. And do it in a way that does not compromise the British government.

I'm guessing that it's the second possibility, only because it makes a more interesting story. Well played, Agent Worrall!
