It seems New Yorkers are not particularly fond of incompetence, abuses of power and the aimless fights that have characterized William Wilhelm Jr.’s administration.
While the media is still playing defense for the radical leftist politician, the public has lost patience with Bill de Blasio’s antics.
Thirty-nine percent of registered voters in New York City approve of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s job performance two months after he took the reins of the nation’s largest city, a poll from The Wall Street Journal-NBC 4 New York-Marist showed Thursday.
According to the poll, the first WSJ-NBC-Marist survey of his tenure, 10% of voters described Mr. de Blasio’s job performance as excellent and 29% characterized it as good, while 37% rated it as fair and 20% said he is doing poorly. The poll showed 5% either never heard of the mayor or were unsure how to rate him.
Mr. de Blasio’s job-performance rating is markedly lower than Mr. Bloomberg’s at the same point after he took office in 2002. At that time, 50% approved of Mr. Bloomberg’s job performance, and only 6% said Mr. Bloomberg was doing poorly in his new job.
The poll found a significant racial divide, with black and Latino voters, Mr. de Blasio’s base, giving him significantly higher marks than white voters.
The poll showed 50% of black voters and 45% of Latino voters approve of Mr. de Blasio’s job performance, while 30% of white voters gave him positive marks.
By comparison, Mayor Bloomberg’s approval rating at this time in his first term in 2002 was 50 percent, with 6 percent rating him as poor, according to Marist.
His approval rating is highest in the Bronx, with 44 percent approving, and lowest in Manhattan, with 30 percent.
Looking at the full poll numbers,
30% of white voters think well of how Mayor de Blasio is doing his job. 34% rate his performance as fair, and 30% say he is doing poorly.
Among African American voters, 50% approve of the job de Blasio is doing. 40% give him fair marks, and 7% rate his performance as poor.
While 78% of African American voters say they like de Blasio, 55% of Latino voters and 49% of white voters say the same.
So the likability factor that the media is playing up in this poll only applies to minorities. In personal likability, he’s underwater among white voters even in that.
79% of African American voters and 64% of Latinos think de Blasio is a unifying force. This compares with only 42% of white voters who share this opinion
Which means that Bill de Blasio isn’t a unifying force. He’s just there to push racial grievances.
But, do adults citywide agree with how de Blasio handled school closings during those storms?
50% do not think he dealt with the situation correctly. 46% believe he did, and 4% are unsure.
While majorities of African Americans — 55% — and Latinos — 53% — say de Blasios assessment was spot on, just 40% of whites agree.
Notably in all this, African-Americans are not all that committed to Red Bill either.
What’s wrong with the other 36% ??????
While 78% of African American voters say they like de Blasio, 55% of Latino voters ..
His wife is black, so I guess that is good enough for contemporary black racists.
Everybody hates Bill de Blasio. The other day, Big Bird said, “Hello to all my friends! But not Bill de Blasio.....I hate him. What kind of man makes up his own name and puts ‘de’ in it?”
Notice that number 39% keeps popping up in all these local and national polls. That is the number of dedicated Marxists and their uninformed fellow travelers in the country. It is the Marxist base. It is Obama’s base. The result of 100 plus years of steady unrelenting work by Communists to subvert this nation and it will exist until destroyed with extreme prejudice.

Maybe, but 98% of journalists want to kiss his butt... and 100% of the folks at NBC and ABC...
The white New Yorker still pays most of the taxes. If these guys would grow a pair and vote with their feet, like Rush, New York would go under.
I would love to see de Communist experience this first hand.
The population is 8,336,697, so I assume all the other figures are wrong in that post upthread as well.
