You might call them common sense, and perhaps at a time in this country’s history they were common sense, but today I would call them exceptionally rare sense.

I would also say that two parent religious families are also very rare, and very necessary in producing the human resources needed in continuing this country’s traditions.

That institution has been attacked purposely and effectively for that very reason.

I personally do not follow any religion, although I am no atheist and believe in Jesus Christ, but I believe religion is extremely important in families and in the raising of children.

If I did have a child, it would without a doubt be in a two person family that actively participated in religion, even though I personally may not want to do that. Religion has a very important role in establishing morality and building belief systems in young people.

Having raised four children I agree totally. Being a dad is a great experience.
