Time for another vacation.. a chance to brainstorm a way out of this mess masquerading as legislation intended to fix things for the uninsured.
Talk about unintended consequences..
or are they?

What part of the law is required to be followed? That might be easier to ascertain. In fact, how about nobody follow the law and wait for the IRS to try and tell you what you did wrong.
There is no law. It’s just paper and faith after simple words and whims can contort it into whatever it is suppose to be now.

Right becasue it’s not full government takeover of the whole medical industry - this is the goal. He and the Leftists would like Obamacare to fail so they can do what Socialist demagogues do best when government fails: demand MORE GOVERNMENT - in this case, FULL GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER.

How can a plan be “sub-standard” if it’s what the individual wants? My husband and I had planned on taking out a catastrophic health insurance policy once we retire. We don’t need all the wings/dings of what Obamacare is shoving at everyone. Now I suppose we will never have that option.

Obama is making all these exceptions for purely political reasons, kicking the can down the road past the next election cycle with no concern for what it does to their financial model. I realize this was a financial disaster from the beginning and I think all these changes are making their financial model even worse. I would like to see CBO run another analysis on the cost, taking into account what these exemptions are doing.

And you can keep it.

Obamacare.. “IT’S THE LAW”. Unless of course it causes people to vote for Republicans, THEN it’s time to delay it!
To: NormsRevenge
As if Obama cares Obamacare works or not. Now that this much power is in the hands of his merry band of statist thugs he couldn’t care less if it works. It WILL lead to single payer. It WILL lead to massive corruption and WILL be a huge tool of political destruction. “Mr. Panic, I see you want to run for Senate, It’d be a shame if Mrs. Panic was to know about that unfortunate rash you had treated.”
Just pure coincidence that all medical records are to be reported to a federal database and doctors are more and more asking about firearms ownership...

ObamaCare was designed to be merely a weigh station on the way to Single Payer.

Smoke and mirrors from the start and now also into the future. Meanwhile they destroyed the U.S. health care system and have replaced it with nothing. The entire law, all of its pages, need to be repealed.
To: NormsRevenge
Obama wants to push this horror past the elections. He doesn't have a smidgen of concern for the people this abomination hurts. It's political. Period.

This is all part of the plan to destroy the private health insurance industry and force us all onto a single payer system. Out of chaos comes order.

I believe his and the democrats’ plan is to try to keep this law into effect until after he leaves the White House. Then the next president can be blamed for destroying Obama’s signature legislation.
