I think some nut wanted to damage Wal-Mart. I think it was a Target employer. :-)

Nope. Not off the top of my head.

You gave good hints.

That’s what I’m thinking. I would never do it, but I’ve seen how precious others would consider that substance to be. I find it hard to believe that someone would deliberately put LSD in or on the meat, and then allow it to be sold to strangers. What possible payoff would that offer? It could’ve been a simple accident, where some worker’s tab of Window Pane did inadvertently fall from an open pocket onto unpackaged meat. Either way, the store will endure a financial loss from having to throw all that meat out.

“It can take a week or more after a trip for the drug to be effective again.”

That answers something I’ve long wondered about

LSD-25 is “semisynthetic” (derived from a natural compound) and does not itself occur in nature. Lysergic acid and its amides are naturally-occurring compounds.

Some chemicals will break down at cooking temperature. Maybe this doesn’t. Arsenic is an element so it could not break down at cooking temperature
