--SNIP-- Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi was asked about the possibility of terrorism as the cause for MH370's disappearance.
A foreign reporter asked Aziz whether MH370 had been lost due to foul play.
"We cannot reveal too many details about our security," Aziz said.
"We have reviewed the closed-circuit television video footage pertaining to passengers and their baggages."
"So far, we are satisfied with everything," he said. --SNIP--
Malaysia Airlines said that the plane took off at 12.41am Malaysia time, and that the plane disappeared from air traffic control radar in Subang, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, at 2.40am.
That timeline seemed to suggest that the plane stayed in the air for two hours long enough to fly not only across the Gulf of Thailand but also far north across Vietnam. But Lindahl of Flightradar 24 said that the last radar contact had been at 1.19am, less than 40 minutes after the flight began.
A Malaysia Airlines spokesman said on Saturday evening that the last conversation between the flight crew and air traffic control in Malaysia had been around 1.30am, but he reiterated that the plane had not disappeared from air traffic control systems in Subang until 2.40am.

And why not? But if that was the cause Alex will say it was a drone
Hopefully there is data that can be analysed. Anyway, I believe an investingation will determine the cause. Makes me want to never get on another plane, but my son is flying in May!
Right. So why is no one thinking hijacked?
Both passports were stolen in Thailand.
Now read this article...There is an airstrip right in burma on the border. Kawthuang. Could they have cut off the transponder and then dropped down below radar and landed the plane at this airport?

Marmema i am thinking like you
No but there were some Ukrainians
The fact that the plane is still officially missing easily leads to conspiracy theories of a types.
Until actual wreckage is found I think it was hijacked, flown at wave top level, possibly left a false fuel dump trail and is hidden somewhere and they are asking for ransom. Probably the ROP.
And after a fuel dump, how far could they have flown and where would that plane have landed without being noticed? You cant exactly land a 777 on just any air strip. Not to mention that flying a 777 at wave top level for any great distance, would be an amazing if not impossible feat of flying.
Hard to investigate until there is actual debris and a crash ‘site’. So far the ‘authorities’ are suggesting there was no contact with the crew, no indication of a problem, just a ‘loss of contact’. This does not give anyone anything to investigate.
If you drive a car on a daily basis, you are more likely to have a deadly accident than flying. The only thing I hate about flying is the TSA
Because that would have shown up on radar..... unless hijacked and nose dived directly into the ocean
The bigger question is why havent they found any wreckage.
I believe a mid air explosion/disintegration would leave a large debris field. Looks like this a/c hit the water in pretty much one piece. I would lean to pilot error or ROP op at this point.
IF it was pilot error it would have to be a biggie because whatever happened is being described as catastrophic and rapid. No emergency signal sent (and that’s a quickie). No calls from the flight deck. The only contact was with another plane and that was described as full of static and garbled...
I lean toward ROP throat cutting and then nose dive in as there is a struggle in the cabin
You still following/ updating mh370?
