South Africas peace icon Desmond Tutu on Friday urged the United States to reject Canadas Keystone XL pipeline, saying the carbon bomb would upend the US role fighting climate change.
The verdict on whether to approve or reject the Keystone XL pipeline could, in just one stroke, confirm or condemn Americas prospects for climate leadership, said the letter, released by the advocacy group Avaaz.

Now that Tutu has South Africa squared away he can take the time to advise Obama and provide guidance to the USA.
Maybe Obama can get him to resurrect Detroit or Dearbornistan.

Americas prospects for climate leadership
I don't know about any other Americans, but this one has no interest whatsoever in 'climate leadership' (whatever the he__ that is).

I had a retired neighbor. His mother was in a home, so he and his brother would visit her on Sundays to play penny-a-point cribbage.
They came up with an ante pot for "The Bishop's Hand" - dealer getting the pot for getting a two in both plays. 2+2=Tutu.
Better than scoring a 19, I guess.

Tutu might consider rethinking his opposition to the pipeline, unless he wants hundreds of millions of freezing northern folks to flee to his country, become leaders and build it up into a huge, smoking metropolis.
