South Africa’s peace icon Desmond Tutu on Friday urged the United States to reject Canada’s Keystone XL pipeline, saying the “carbon bomb” would upend the US role fighting climate change.

“The verdict on whether to approve or reject the Keystone XL pipeline could, in just one stroke, confirm or condemn America’s prospects for climate leadership,” said the letter, released by the advocacy group Avaaz.

Just include him in with the other climate experts: gore, john f'n kohn-kerry-hienz, the "lyin' king", the cast of the weather channel(at least the got some credentials) and various other clueless climate change nazis. Have any of these clowns considered just how hard it is to grow stuff in sub-zero conditions?

Now that Tutu has South Africa squared away he can take the time to advise Obama and provide guidance to the USA.

Maybe Obama can get him to resurrect Detroit or Dearbornistan.

America’s prospects for climate leadership

I don't know about any other Americans, but this one has no interest whatsoever in 'climate leadership' (whatever the he__ that is).

I had a retired neighbor. His mother was in a home, so he and his brother would visit her on Sundays to play penny-a-point cribbage.

They came up with an ante pot for "The Bishop's Hand" - dealer getting the pot for getting a two in both plays. 2+2=Tutu.

Better than scoring a 19, I guess.

tutu is a parasite who has never had any intelligent thing to say about anything. His race card is worn very, very thin.

When asked what he thought about Desmond Tutu after their meeting, Reagan replied: “So, so”.

Tutu might consider rethinking his opposition to the pipeline, unless he wants hundreds of millions of freezing northern folks to flee to his country, become leaders and build it up into a huge, smoking metropolis.
