...Several months ago, Jeffrey Katzenberg reached out to Hillary Clinton to assure her that if she runs for president in 2016, he will support her.
Katzenberg is one of Hollywood's premier political kingmakers and one of the Democratic Party's top national fundraisers, so the call had to be a welcome one. For Clinton, who failed to secure his support for her unsuccessful run at the Democratic nomination in 2008, it also was crucial.

It's not the four years of seasoning. Born: October 26, 1947 - it's the 69 years of seasoning before the election that will turn off swing voters. It's the sleaze 20 years ago when she was responsible for destroying the lives of women who told the truth. I think Hillary's odds are not good; no one thinks she is either a uniter or a leader, just a brass-knuckles politician who loves power.
Bring it on! I don’t think Hillary has the physical stamina for the next two years of campaigning followed by 4 years of Imperial rule.

In 1996 this would have been the be-all and end-all. Hollywood was a critical source of the $2,000-a-pop rubber chicken circuit and gatekeeper to attention / adulation of the MSM.
In 2014 this means f***-all. Modern internet-enabled communication, mobilization and small donor fundraising can and for the right candidate will leave all the 60-year-old Hollywood moguls in the dust.
Not saying it will be done, but I am saying that there are a dozen Democrats who could take the nomination from Hillary if they put their mind to it.
