The people who claim to know on this site are more mad that he violated the NDA than the NSA/CIA spying on private citizens without a warrant.

The most common response is “Well, everyone should know that it happens, and if you are not guilty it isn’t a problem!”

The GOP will end as a party because of things like this. Rather than defend the constitution, they defend their own business interests.

I went dark on FR for a good bit because the alternative was to point this stuff out, and the mods were just on a knife fest banning people left and right.

It is nice to see that some people seem to be waking up to the idea that a Free Republic (the concept, not the site) can never be saved by the exercise of state power, and that authority can never be trusted.

My fear is that once “our guy” (whoever that turns out to be) is back in power, the same crew will once again roll over, expose their bellies and pee themselves in submission to tyrants, and be INDIGNANT at the idea that “our great country” would start wars, trample freedom, impoverish people and trample the constitution.
