Larry Kudlow Retiring, Wrapping Up 'The Kudlow Report' on CNBC

"The Larry Kudlow Report" will end its run on CNBC later this month, the network said on Friday, with host Larry Kudlow staying on as a senior contributor.

"Larry expressed his love of the network and personal pride in what had been accomplished on his program over the years but now wanted to slow down just a bit," the network's president, Mark Hoffman, told staff in a memo on Friday. "As an interviewer, he is unfailingly polite and energetic, skillfully grilling guests but always ending a segment graciously.

"Larry has always brought great enthusiasm to every program and appearance," Hoffman said.

The CNBC executive did not say what would replace Kudlow's program — only that the network was "working on plans" for the 7 p.m. Eastern time slot.

Kudlow, 66, will contribute to the "Business Day" program on CNBC, Hoffman said.

P.S. I hope he keeps his radio show Saturday nights. Great interviews and information.

He's 90% plus conservative, so I can deal with the immigration instead of turning him off like some children.

An indefatigable supporter of illegal immigration!

Anyone who is in favor of that loses all credibility and support in my book, and I presume that's true of most Freepers.

Oh really? Don't listen to me, "Google" Kudlow and illegal immigration and educate yourself.

Art Laffer, a reliable supply sider, Reagan booster

Not all that 'reliable' imho:

Arthur Laffer  has stated publicly that he voted for President Bill Clinton in 1992 and 1996.

“Arthur Laffer has stated publicly that he voted for President Bill Clinton in 1992 and 1996.”

So what? At least Clinton had the sense to sign onto Newt’s ‘contract with America’ and stole credit for the last balanced budget the USA will ever see again.

Dubya had many fine qualities but fiscal conservatism was not among them. He was a big spender and he was an accomplice to the housing crash followed by his TARP program that 0bama has made much worse.

I repeat: Art Laffer is a reliable supply sider and a Reagan booster.

I cringe to think what KTTH is going to put in that Sat. night time slot. They used to have Bill Handel, which I liked, but they evidently didnt.

I know what you’re saying, but I think he was another of those who knocked Ted Cruz pretty hard.

That’s the Wall Street Journal crowd, I guess. That’s the way they are when it comes to that issue.
I don’t know how many subscribe to paper editions of Sunday newspapers, but I subscribe to the paper Herald. On Sunday, in the business section, they have a section from WSJ which I used to love. One column is “10 Things”, 10 things Dept. stores won’t tell you, 10 things your cleaning lady won’t tell you( they nailed that one—I used to clean houses. ) Anyway, last Sun. they had 10 Things the gun industry won’t Tell You. I skimmed through it and was horrified. It looked like an excuse to recite gun grabber talking points. How the Journal has fallen. I would have posted this as a thread but I can’t seem to post threads properly here and WSJ is famous for throwing up pay walls anyway.
