The person who buses the most people in for the straw poll wins at CPAC. It requires a heavy investment of not only paying for the buses but also the registrations. Usually they all show up on the bus just for the voting only.

Was that a poll of the general public or was that for everybody...????

While Rand is in my top 3 or 4 candidates, I think he unfairly benefited from the PaulBot contingent that always attends CPAC.
He is absolutely preferable to any one the rats run in 2016, but I think Cruz is my candidate.
I just recently made up my mind on this. I had been worried that Cruz was just talking a good game recently, then I saw information regarding writings he had done in college. He sounds like a real deal conservative.

CPAC was overflowing with Shamnesty supporters. No thanks. Too much Potomac water.

Indeed, his (Rand Paul's) father, then-Rep. Ron Paul, won the straw poll twice on a similar libertarian-minded message, though he struggled to translate that support into votes when it came to primaries and caucuses.
GOOD!!! CPAC can choose the little punk all they want, but, thank God he still has to win the votes of the American people in the Primaries; which he WILL NOT do. It would be easier for me to forgive Rand Paul for raping a nun easier than I can forgive him for endorsing, and campaigning for, Mitch "The Bitch" McConnell. I will never forgive him for that, and I will never vote for the little political whore. NEVER!!

Ben might pull ahead down the stretch.......
He is a conservative that appeals to the campaign money providers that must re build the economy.
He wields a razor sharp stiletto that he inserts so silky smooth the victim doesn’t know he has been slain.

31%
That means that the other 69% were “split” between Rinos. When then get their liberal acts together, conservatives will once again be marginalized.

I prefer Cruz to Paul (ever since Paul came out in favor of amnesty for illegals), but as far as I’m concerned, I’ll be happy as long as Jeb Bush isn’t the 2016 GOP nominee. Christie will be a non-factor thanks to his recent scandals.

I’m sorry, but Rand doesn’t do much more for me than his daddy does.
