Friday afternoon, I was involved in an automobile accident in South Miami. I happened at 3:00 PM. Police were called immediately. We waited for about an hour, normal for a busy time of the day. We called again and were told that there were “no police available for non-emergency response” due to the factd that “THE OBAMAS” were in town and that it would be at least another hour...four hours later, after many calls and complaints that it was getting dark and dangerous for the vehicles to be sitting on the edge of a very busy roadway, the police showed up to make the report. I really felt sorry for her because I could see in her face that she was stressed. Whe she finished I thanked her for coming on such a crazy day....she said “You have no idea!”
