Your memory is intact. They thought they could beat Scott Gessler easily yet he won the election. Getting various secretaries of state has been a Democrat strategy for some time because the SoS controls vote counting and how the state handles various voting issues.
With a little luck we’re hoping Gessler will win the election for governor this year.
Fingers crossed for Gessler. Hopefully, after the gun fiasco Hinkenpooper (sp) and a majority of the Dems will be tossed out in CO this year.
IIRC Colorado was part of Soros’ SOS project to get Dems as SOS, so as you said, they could control the vote count.
