We need to reform Medicare and Medicaid or they will bankrupt us. Obamacare does nothing to move the cost curve down. The status quo before Obamacare was not acceptable either.

Medicare will consume the entire federal budget if not reformed. Over 40% of the costs of Medicare come from the General Fund. The HI payroll tax and Medicare premiums don't cover the true costs of the program. The average recipient get three times more in benefits than they contributed to the system. And we have an aging population that will increase costs just by their numbers.

Just bump up the age and keep bumping it up as we live longer its not rocket science. People won’t like it but we see where feel good govt. leads.
