BRENTWOOD - A Suffolk woman says she's the latest victim of the so-called "knockout game," the violent spree of attacks targeting innocent people who are minding their own business.
The woman, a 51-year-old Guatemalan immigrant, asked News 12 Long Island to conceal her identity because she says she's scared that her family will be targeted. She spoke with News 12 through a translator.
The woman says she was smashed in the face and knocked to the ground Friday by four teenagers as she walked home from the supermarket. She says it happened at the corner of MacArthur Avenue and Doolittle Street in Brentwood....

Well, I can’t reply to the article, I can only reply to other replies. It is often understood that replies are intended to respond to the article, not the poster. As a hint, I did mention “media people”. In any case, yes, I am responding to the article, not poster #1. Sorry for any confusion. I detest the way this is a called a “game” and I detest the tap-dancing when it comes to descriptions of suspects. The media is attempting to advance some chosen narratives here, rather than reporting the news. That’s why I don’t want to call them “reporters” nor “journalists.” Just “media people.” Propagandists, perhaps.

I lived in Brentwood for around 15 years...got out around 12 years ago. My house was broken into three times while I was there; was vandalized a half-dozen more times.
It’s a harbor for MS-13 and other gangs. Very few White faces left.
One night, I heard gunshots at a party behind my house. Called the cops for two hours and they NEVER showed. Gunshots.
Newsday, the Liberal newspaper on Long Island, turned Brentwood into the shithole that it is many years ago when they ran an article extolling it as a haven for NYC Hispanics. They all flocked to the area after that.
If you’re in hell and you get pissed off at someone, you tell them to go to Brentwood.
