This is one of the most tiresome and egregious democrat talking points - that their opposition are all stupid. Palin was right about the Ukraine, but she's stupid. She was right about ‘death panels’, but she's stupid. There are many more examples. The bottom line is that the left has specific criteria for ‘being smart’. It includes going to specific schools, espousing specific accepted beliefs, and speaking in a specific - often slowly annunciated - manner (think Al Gore, Obama, etc.). It's a specific package of beliefs and behaviors, and they really demand uniformity.

That they actually limit their thoughts and assessments on the basis of these specific criteria is pathetic, and most definitely not in line with being ‘smart’.

I bet 99% of democrats(politicians and voters) didn’t even know what Ukraine was nor could they point to it on a map. yet these same democrats say Sarah Palin is dumb as a rock when Sarah Palin in 2008 predicted Putin would invade Ukraine.
