Logically--and perhaps hoping for actual logic, today, may seem anachronistic--this should disqualify McConnell from continued recognition as a Republican Party leader. It is one thing to disagree & argue policy with a significant percentage of your party base. It is just plain stupid to strut around and proclaim your contempt for that significant segment, in this offensive manner.

I would never argue against intelligent discussion of issues; but to unnecessarily insult those for whom you really have no rational answer, is lunacy. If McConnell is now senile, let him retire--not create havoc within the ranks. If he no longer believes in principles with which he has tried to identify in the past, let him retire, not substitute insulting rhetoric to cover his own loss of direction.

Regardless of what is behind this strange posturing, it is clearly time that he retire.

At this point I don’t want McConnell to just retire. I want him crushed. His contempt for the good and decent American Patiots who identify with the Tea Party has made him a more contemptible person than Harry Reid. I expect Harry Reid to have contempt for me. I do not countenance it from GOP leaders.

If McConnell wins his party nomination, then we must run a sold conservative as a third party challenger. There is nothing worse than a General who has joined the enemy. Nothing.
