I have seen the canceled check and William Seward's desk which at one time were on loan to the Alaska State Museum in Juneau. No refunds, Ivan.

Uh... yeah. As someone who lives about 80 miles from the shore of the Bering Sea, I hate to inform the Russians that any occupation would be house-to-house combat. And everyone, and I mean everyone, knows how to shoot a rifle, and some of us are really good shots (which is why many of my students move on to careers as Army Rangers or Marines). And the antimissile batteries are at Ft. Greeley. And there are a bunch of Air Force and Army bases around the state. So good luck to the Russians.

Not funny. The Russians have said, on the record, that they want it back. That was years ago, but they've never, to my knowledge, taken back that statement.
