“Allison Lonergan Grimes will defeat him in November because HE will have caused decent conservative Kentuckians to stay home on election day by his repeated assault on their values and beliefs.”

In Massachusetts, we call that a “Brown Out”

“I know enough Kentuckians who will vote for Grimes over McConnell just to get rid of McConnell. That could just be limited to those I know, but they sure want him gone.

They’d rather have an open liberal than a traitor in their midst.”
********************************************************************

The GOPe would rather have their establishment candidate win the nomination and lose the Senate seat than have a conservative alternative win the nomination and then GO ON TO ACTUALLY WIN THE GENERAL ELECTION AGAINST the DemocRATS.

McConnell has become VERY unpopular in Kentucky. He’s a weasel in a turtle’s shell.

Mitch is way more vulnerable than Cornyn was. This is gonna sting a little. :)

Folks have got to step up and support Matt Bevin, then, and not leave him hanging. Dwayne Stovall only had $75,000 against Cornyn's millions. He did pretty well considering the funding situation but if you actually want to - you know - win, you've got to provide the candidate with some $$$$.

Fodder for ads by Bevin and the Tea Party quoting McConnell.

McConnell, who just days earlier was at CPAC claiming himself to be a conservative, attacks the Tea Party and conservatism.

So, who does McConnell really represent? Who does McConnell really work for?

Mitch is one smarmy bastard, and he is one of the biggest reasons that America is in the throes of a precipitous collapse. Bob

I’m right across the river, rural Ohio across from rural KY, but they don’t like Mitch.

Don't be too sure....'ol RINO McConnell has been in office long enough to amass a strong machine...McCain would be out of office if his machine wasn't so strong.....maybe he will be out this next time around.

>>The Tea Party is NOT THE ENEMY Senator McConnell....get it through your head the Tea Party is made up of Patriots, real Americans....not Progressives (Democrats) which is a euphemism for Socialist or Communist which ARE the enemies of America i.e., a free nation.

The GOPe are also Progressives. The Tea Party is their enemy.

At this point, even if Mitch somehow beats Bevin through crook or hook, I’ll take Grimes over him just to see his sorry carcass tossed out in disgrace.

McConnell (31%) is polling about the same level as Jim Bunning (28%) was. Funny thing is that Cornyn forced Bunning to step aside because they said he would lose to the democrat. Looks like Cornyn wants McConnell to lose to Grimes so he’ll take Mitch’s place.

This is the guy who took a two billion dollar bribe from Obama to betray his country.

McConnell barely beat the Democrat 6 years ago. He is toast and Cornyn is licking his chops while encouraging McConnell to run (and lose).

Ever notice that establishment hack Republicans fight harder against their own base than against their (perceived) opponents, the Democrats?

Did Kerry or Obama call Dean supporters kooks or wackos?

When rural Kentuckians don’t like you and don’t believe you’re a conservative, then you’re in trouble if you’re a politician.

So Mitch does CPAC while waving a muzzleloading Hawken rifle......

Does that prove his support for gun rights? Oh h*** no!

Even liberals argue the 2nd Amendment allows ownership of guns such as they were in the Founders’ time. That is, muzzleloaders, flintlocks at that.

Of course there were security concerns. The po-po would have gone all freaky-deaky if McConnell walked onstage with an AR-15. Still, it’s hokey, it’s fake & is exactly like 2004 when Jean F’in Kerry said “Reporting for duty!”

War with the Tea Party? Bring it, ol’ turtleneck.

That would be just like Cornyn, the back-stabbing SOB.
