Just as “guns do not kill people, people kill people” it is also true that valid or invalid documents do not hijack airplanes or destroy them in flight.
Evil people do these things.
Most of these people have been motivated by evil ideologies and have been responsible for nearly all airliner incidents.
Just a wild guess would say that one particular evil ideology has been responsible for 95+% of hijackings & bombings.

I would say the latter. Why?
No crash debris at all has been found at all or any sign thereof.
I speculate that the aircraft has been either hijacked by the Iranians or stolen with the cap and f.o.’s permission. They turned the aircraft around and flew to a remote airfield in one of many numerous islands in that region of the world, disembarked the passengers, and have loaded an Iranian nuke on board. That 777 will be repainted and re-programmed to look like another legitimate civilian aircraft. Then it will be flown into US airspace and detonated over a large city either in CA or NY. It probably would not be detected until it was too late.
Think of what would happen if this scenario played out.
That is an interesting scenario, but what did they do with the passengers..kill them all? Until there is actual evidence that this plane is in the water I will not believe that it actually crashed. If the plane exploded in mid air by a large bomb there would be debris everywhere

KOTA BARU: The authorities here have their hands full after receiving at least two reports from the public that they saw an aircraft flying low on the same day Malaysian Airlines MH370 vanished.
In his report, the owner of a fishing boat claimed that he saw an airplane flying low while he was at sea with a friend about 14.4km from Kuala Besar in Pantai Cahaya Bulan here at 1.30am on Saturday.
Azid Ibrahim, 66, said the aircraft was heading towards international waters.
