I remember an air crash from some years ago when the pilot of the airliner (one of the ‘stans?) allowed his son to take the controls and the kid immediately did something unrecoverable and killed everyone aboard.
CNN was very upset by this report, they were bending over backwards to say the pilots were wonderful men, and (implying) the women are horrible liars.

Yup! I’m sure that the Orion pilot and Mr. Tibbets didn’t have impressionable young women from Oz with fake eyelashes and bad makeup (who’ve become media whores) in their cockpits...
