On Tuesday, all three network morning shows dutifully touted a fake interview President Obama conducted with comedian Zach Galifianakis designed to help the commander-in-chief hock ObamaCare to young people. On NBC's Today, social media co-host Carson Daly gushed: "It's over six minutes long...all of it is really, really funny....You know, the First Lady's been everywhere showing her comedy chops and it's been great. But boy, the President, he is amazing in this. So check that out this morning if you have time." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]
Later in the show's 9 a.m. ET hour, weatherman Al Roker praised Obama's comedic genius: "It's about the delivery and the President shows he's got the comedy chops." Co-host Tamron Hall declared: "Yes, yes. Which he shows at the White House Correspondents' Dinner every year." Co-host Willie Geist explained: "It was part of a – this concerted effort to promote the Affordable Care Act. Because they get into that and the President's allowed to explain it."

I watched the video and the words, “total disaster” and “unfunny”, come immediately to mind.
Was this the same interview where he said, “What’s it like for this to be the last time you ever talk to a president?”

He asked about the birth certificate, and would his presidential library be in Kenya, and would he like to win another election, and how does it feel to be the last black president, and then let’s get this plug for the affordable care act over. When Chris showed him the spider bite, the president didn’t say go to the emergency room, he said that’s ugly, sign up for the ACA. The Pres came across as being a moron. Surprise, surprise. IMO

This is exactly like all of those reports from North Korea about their version of Dear Leader getting 6 holes-in-one the first time he played golf. Creepy and very scary.
This was an absolute embarrassment. Is it any wonder why the rest of the world considers Obama to be a lightweight?

He has become a super shill. Gets extra money, no doubt. He does not seem to mind anything they make him do.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t get the humour that was displayed.
I thought Obama was ticked, and the whole thing seemed almost as lame as the Richard Simmons freak show.
I am however, hearing the likes of Brit Hume and others say that it was funny. I must not be in tune with what young people consider funny these days. It was pathetic. Scary, when you consider he’s the leader of the free world.
