Big Brannon supporter here….but this is not my favorite statement of his. On one hand, it’s somewhat true…on the other hand, such statements ignore the fact that the alternative was even more tyranny sooner…..
Romney was not going to downsize the government, that’s one thing for sure.
He would have repealed and replaced Obamacare with his Obamacare-lite Romneycare.
Forcing people to buy health insurance is something that Obamacare and Romneycare in Massachusetts had in common.
That is a form of tryranny.
I think I’d be much happier with Mitt’s tyrrany than Baraq Hussein Obama / Barry Sotero / Barry Shabazz’s. At least one is a real American citizen who’s not chumming it up with guys who cut off people’s heads or blow them to pieces. And at least I know Mitt Romney’s real name. How people can stand by the traitor after everything he’s done is beyond me unless they are truly blind and retarded.
So slow tyranny is better than fast?
I say let it come, naked and swift. So all can see it for what it is. Let it not be layered on slowly, ‘boiling the frog’.
I did not, vote for Romney here in TN. Virgil Goode got my vote. If McCain and Romney are the best the GOP can field, they are dead to me.

I had planned on supporting Brannon but the more I read about and hear statements like these, the more I am looking around for a better choice.
