Leaders of the G7 group of nations have called on Russia to stop all efforts to "annex" Ukraine's Crimea region.

They said if Russia took such a step they would "take further action, individually and collectively".

Meanwhile, Ukraine's national security chief has warned of a major Russian military build-up on Ukraine's borders.

"The Russian army is only two to three hours' march from Kiev," said Andriy Parubiy. "Our units are positioned to repel attack from any direction."

He said a Ukrainian National Guard was being created, which will be made up of 20,000 people "who want to participate directly in the defence of their state".

Our communist “leader” pretends to be scratching his nose when delivering such a message. The imposter is no match for Vlad on any stage.

Crimea seems to want to be part of Russia.

Hmm. Maybe southern California and all of its federal welfare recipients can be ceded back to Mexico.....

Why should So. Cal want to be ceded back to Mexico. They have the best of both worlds the way it is. They can hoist the Mexican flag, celebrate Mexican holidays and still receive all the benefits and entitlements of U.S Citizens.

Russia does not accept warnings from the West that unilaterally annexed Kosovo.

The precedent is now being turned against it - and every one should keep in mind Russia is not Serbia.

If the West takes action against Russia, Russia will retaliate in kind.

Seems to me, Putin would prefer that NY remain American and put in charge of America entirely.

“Russia does not accept warnings from the West that unilaterally annexed Kosovo.”

Pure BS. What western nation is Kosovo now a part of? The West didn’t annex Kosovo, it supported its secession from a hegemonic Serbia.

Why do you think Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union went out of business? No one liked the management.

I support self-determination and would be willing to support a Crimean referendum for separation from Ukraine but only in the absence of Russian troops. The fact it takes Russian troops to initiate a secession referendum is very revealing and makes any result a sham.

When it comes to the “G-7”, those are MY sentiments EXACTLY. They stand for one world government.
