bump!

I hope.. and her endorsement helps. But it’s not a sure bet yet.

Last I’d seen, the moderate/establishment guy, Lankford was polling ahead of Shannon.

Annnnd we have another problem and his name is Randy Brogdon. Brodgon for whatever reason just dropped out of the Governors Race to run for Senate.

Brogdon will now split the Conservative vote between he and Shannon.. possibly causing Lankford to win.

Hopefully the endorsement convinces Brogdon to leave the race. CfG and SCF should endorse right away

I’m glad that Palin did this. I support Shannon, but Lankford is no RINO. To be honest, I’m not watching this primary closely. With Randy Brogdon in the race, it increases the chance of a runoff.

How will Brogdon help Lankford get 50%?

Lankford supports amnesty:
“I’m a Christian, and restitution and reconciliation’s a big deal.”

Inhofe and Coburn have been good on amnesty.

Do Steve Largent and/or J.C. Watt have any political clout in OK? Do you think it would help if one or both of them endorsed Shannon?

We LOVE Steve Largent (former Seahawks supestar) up here in the Pacific NW. I always enjoyed listening to JC, too.

Best,
SC

How is it that T.W. Shannon gets to be Oklahoma speaker of the House at 35 years old, and has been in the Oklahoma house since 2007 (taking office at the age of 28 and making him very much an insider), but James Lankford has been in a minor part of the Oklahoma delegation since 2011 - taking office for the very first time at the age of 43, but Lankford is the establishment guy?

This is absurd. T.W. Shannon is a career politician and you all know it.

I got a call from a push poll a few weeks back asking me questions about James Lankford? “Would you be more or less likely to vote for James Lankford if you knew he did this?” By the end of the poll, they were basically asking me if I would be more or less likely to vote for James Lankford if I knew that he habitually sneaks into maternity wards at hospitals and bites off baby heads. Shannon isn't running an honest campaign. I asked the pollster who she worked for and she wouldn't tell me, but it was as plain as the questions she was asking.

Furthermore, Shannon is skipping candidate forums. Do any of you know why he doesn't want to put his beliefs out in the open for anyone to see? I can't say that I know for sure, but I sure wonder.

I don't know if I'm voting for Lankford in the primaries, but I'm definitely not voting for Shannon, I can tell you that.
