Thankfully SCOTUS shot down the worst of it.
I read this on the townhall blog
Geez, Ann didn’t mention this one:
McConnell on Obamacare:
In an interview with WYMT-TV on Tuesday evening, McConnell admitted that he can see parts of Obamacare working. While he stands as a vocal opponent of Obamacare, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) does not disagree with the entire policy.
In an interview with WYMT-TV on Tuesday evening, McConnell admitted that he can see parts of Obamacare working.
There are a handful of things in the 2,700-page bill that probably are okay, McConnell said. But that doesnt warrant a 2,700-page takeover of all of American health care.
So which is it? Some is ok but others are not - guess McConnell was NEVER for repeal or defunding to begin with.....the whole Senate excuse is null and void.....
Now I get what you mean. Thanks.
McConnell said that? He's right.
Would Mitch McConnell be against amnesty if he faced no primary and no serious Democrat candidate?
McCain helped delay amnesty years when he had to fight off a primary challenge. The next push for amnesty was the Rubio push and they didn’t have Pelosi or Boehner in a position of strength.
McConnell could also lose the general if the Tea Party decides to vote against anyone but him.
If McConnell loses maybe Cornyn becomes leader, but better yet if Jeff Sessions becomes leader.

Even after voting against the bill, McConnell was on Meet the Press [7/14/13] expressing his hope that the House can go to conference with the Senate bill. Everyone knows that will not result in enforcement first.
On July 16, McConnell told reporters that the Senate had a good year, noting among other things, passage of the immigration bill.
[ If I have a piece of property and I built a fence 25 years ago a foot in side my neighbors property and nobody challenge it till my neighbor sales the property and the new owners want me to move the fence thats too bad. ]
Yes, it is too bad.....for your ass. You were in the wrong so you should have to move it back onto your property. The reverse of this is of course relocating said fence one foot inside the property line on your side.
How do you like those apples, ace?
In 2700 pages of legislation?
He is likely correct. Even liberals can't get it wrong 100% of the time (although they are working on that).
I'd wager most landfills have at least a couple of diamonds in them, too.
On balance, we still throw out the trash.
At the very least, be aware they exist, it can save your land, your cabin, etc.
Ultimately, the defense of your property boundaries (legally or otherwise) falls on you.
I had the experience in California you are talking about. Before I sold my property, we had it surveyed to locate all the property markers. Seems the neighbor on the left had a fence about 2 feet onto our property, and the neighbor on the right had a rock wall about 3 feet onto our property.
The new buyer of our property had both fences moved back to align with the accurate survey. Everybody was satisfied that true boundaries were established.
Of course, they would have likely had to be reassessed, and pay taxes...
In Colorado, a couple was not so fortunate:
SURE they were...
How LONG had these folks actually BEEN neighbors?
It’s called adverse possession.
Talk to us about the money. Tell me more. I haven't heard anything about this until now. Did somebody see a check or a bank statement?
Truth in advocacy: I recently donated to McConnell’s opponent in the primary. (Ping to my last.)
