The Pew Center identified topsider Republicans as secret enemies of people's 2A rights long ago ..... Pew's euphemism (don't disturb the children) was "weak" ..... and they (delicately phrasing it, but I saw through their doublespeak) *hoped* that gun-grabbers could find sneaky, Benedict-Arnoldine 11th-hour support (remember Profiles in Courage? Like that.) to help push through their gun bans and criminalization of 2A people.

The bottom line is, in general bosses don't believe the schlubs who slave for them and whom they regularly abuse should have firearms -- it's as simple as that. If I rough up and push a guy regularly because I think he can't quit and can't say no, I may miscalculate, sooooo...... better to let the Communists broom the firearms off the street and wipe out the stiffnecked, because that works for me.
