“Liberal” used to be a good thing, until the Left hijacked the term.
Well, I dunno about that one. It depends on how far back you want to go. I suppose the Founding Fathers could be considered "liberal" perhaps even radical. But I was born in 1957. My father was born in Moscow, Russia within the (extended) family of the Czar in 1907. He passed in 1980. I was raised knowing that the terms "political left," "liberal" and "communist" all had similar meanings. I was also raised from infancy to understand the critical importance of the 2nd Amendment to our enduring freedoms or lack thereof. With all due respect to our shift dedicated to this site from the NSA, I won't detail what my dad used to hammer into my head as to what to do if anybody ever tried to take away our firearms. Let me just say that my dad would have really liked our very own Travis McGee and the series of books we've all come to know and love. EFAD
